Also, this may seem a silly question, but I'm fairly certain I've heard it pronounced both ways. "Leah" do you pronounce it "Lee" or "Lee-uh"?

Thirdly, how do you feel about "ie" nicknames on older people? For example: Stevie, Joey, Danny, Emmy, etc.?

i've always pronounced leah as "lee" and have a lot of problems remembering the "uh" at the end.

I pronounce Leah as Lay-uh automatically but I know it is often Lee-uh as well.
I've never heard it pronounced Lee

I've never heard Leah as Lee. I've heard Lee-ah versus Lay-ah. I automatically use Lee-ah, myself.

I think it depends on how old they are. I don't know if there's a cut-off where people should stop using them, but there is definitely an age where somebody sounds a lot more childish than they are with a name like Stevie or Joey.

I like Eli, not on girls, and Sam.

It's definitely Lee-uh to me. I know my friend's boyfriend (who is English) says Lay-uh, but to me that would be spelled Leia. I've never heard the name pronounced Lee.

Lee-uh. It's my sister's name, and that's how she pronounces it (and gets pissed as all hell when people try to pronounce it Lay-uh, so it just sounds wrong to me, too).

Lee-uh. My friend Leah says that sometimes people say it as "Lee" and she is like "wtf? there's an AH people!"

As far as "ie" nicknames go, it depends on the person. Our family friend Richard will always be "Ricky," and our neighbor Charles will always be "Chuckie". However, we never call my sister Emily "Emmy" anymore. It is either "Em" or her full name.

Lee-uh. I have never heard it pronounced Lee... or Lay-uh, though I suppose some people could come up with that. (Lay-uh is spelled Leia, to me.)

The examples you gave are nicknames to me, so I think they're fine as long as the person as a legit name. I think some of them sound more childish than others, so I guess a person could stop using it after a certain age, but...that's up to the individual. ^^

(Ugh, is that worded weird? (-_-) I've re-written it a couple of times, but I'm tired and out of it, and just not getting it, haha.)

I'm surprised more people weren't mentioning it, to be honest!

The Lee pronunciation doesn't make sense to me, since the -ah part clearly makes the 'ah' sound! Oh well. I pronounce it as either Lee-uh/ah (in English) or "Lay-ah" (in Dutch).

My name is Leah. I pronounce it "Lee-uh." A few times in school, I've had a few dumb teachers pronounce it "Lee," I never quite got it. I absolutely hate when someone calls me "Lay-uh." I don't know why it bothers me so much, but it's one of my biggest pet peeves.

Weighing in on Leah: lee-ah, always. Lea I've heard both ways, though.

Maybe, I guess. I always figured it was just the same logic that brings us sea rhyming with see, pea rhyming with pee, tea rhyming with tee, etc. English really is a weird language!
