Phoenix frontman Thomas Mars & director Sofia Coppola recently welcomed a second baby girl, a source confirms to PEOPLE.
Daughter Cosima was born in New York City “within the last month” and joins big sister Romy, 3½.

I've only ever heard it pronounced KO-see-mah but behindthename has it pronounced KAW-zee-mah or something to that effect.

I love Cosima :) The name belongs to my favorite character in my favorite book (Animal Dreams) by my favorite author (Barbara Kingsolver). Not a huge fan of Romy, though.

I also like Alana, but the rest are awful.
