Jun. 17th, 2010 08:03 pmI was just watching TV and came across a boy named Bjorn, pronounced 'buh - shaun'. I've never heard it pronounced like this before.
Thoughts? Is it a common pronunciation? I don't mind it, although I prefer the Scandinavian 'byorn'. I think my only problem with it is that I'm so used to pronouncing Bjorn the 'usual' way, it takes me a moment to figure it out!
