Train Wreck Name

This is one of the most awkward names I've ever encountered. A local church has the pastor's name on the sign: Renty E. Kitty. Where to start? Well, a family can't help having a really odd last name like Kitty, but you'd think they could take it into account and not give a first name that makes him sound like some kind of rent-a-pet company. What kind of name is Renty anyway? I mean seriously, what the heck? I don't know what the middle E stands for. It may be a perfectly normal name and it may flow as well with Renty Kitty as any name can be expected to. But Renty E. is so very awkward to say, and then there's another "ee" at the end of the last name... To me, this whole name is a train wreck. (Disclaimer: I've never met the man, he may be a perfectly lovely person. It doesn't keep him from having a disastrous name!)

ETA: Today's library gem: a 50-60-year-old lady name Zylphia!
