I triple-checked the spelling, but I still think whoever typed up her account to begin with may have put in an extra E or something.

I've never understood why anyone names their child Desiree, et. al., in the first place. I mean, yeah, the sound of it is pretty, but... stripper name much?

No offense to all the Desiree's out there, who I'm sure are lovely people!

Funny -- because the only Desiree I ever knew irl ended up stripping after I worked with her a few years in fast food. lol.

I knew a Desiree in elementary school. I wasn't a fan of the name. But, I've since discovered Desderia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/D%C3%A9sir%C3%A9e_Clary), and my opinion has shifted. But that's a horrible botch-up. Ew.

Desideria... hmm. Bit of a tongue-twister, but infinitely more elegant and respectable than Desiree. Hardly the same name at all.

I actually like the name Desiree and don't see any stripper association at all... but that's just me.
