[identity profile] ashadelic.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
I did the name game yesterday (but didnt post it), and then just started playing around and found something mildly humorous yet disturbing in a "hmm" kinda way: In the 1900-1910 decade, Tiny was #946 for girls names. My grandma was born in 1908.. and her name was Tiney. Tiny made the top 1000 list 16 times between 1888 and 1920, although it never made it past the 700's. I never ever expected to find her name on a list of 1000 most popular names for ANY time. Did anyone else find a name (family or otherwise) that seemed to blow your mind that it made it in the top 1000 names?
