There was a story in the local paper today about a mom who gave birth in the back of their minivan when they weren't able to make it to the hospital in time.

First of all, they named him Grayson James Ruff (that being their last name, not a second middle name), which I'm not at all fond of, and I know the general stance in this community on Grayson and names that rhyme with it.

But now the extended family has started calling him Van.  Because he was born in a van.  

At least some are calling him Miles because the road where they were parked is Milestrip Pkwy.  I like that better than either Van or Grayson.

I actually had greyson james as a maybe for my daughter had she been a boy. greyson, yes. james was undecided

I don't have the same issues with that one that a lot of other people have, but I'm a comic book geek and all I see is Dick Grayson, aka Robin.

That's just stupid. I was born in a hospital and no one calls me Hospital.

Hahaha, I'll bet there'd be a whole ton of people named Hospital. :p

Unless they went by the name of the hospital .. mine was actually called Grace, so. :D haha.

What do you mean? Is there a post where this happened? I don't remember this comm ever having a problem with that name/names that rhyme with it. Now Jaden/Aiden/Caden we might have a problem with.. : )

What a shame to call him something stupid like Van when he has a nice name like Grayson. I like Miles though.

I think I'd have to go crazy mom on them and be all "YOU WILL NEVER SEE MY CHILD IF YOU DON'T ACKNOWLEDGE HIS ACTUAL NAME!!!!" I'm not fond of Grayson, but I like it better than Van or Miles.
