Which one do you like more? Is there any reason for liking one more than the other?
Also, what middle names go well with either of those?
(I am trying to make up my mind... it has a sweet history in our family, my husband is so in love with the name, and so is everyone else - but not me, at least for now).
Thank you!

Anna is okay, I think my fave is Anne-with-an-E, nickname Annie. I probably absorbed the "e" preference from an early exposure to Anne of Green Gables, lol, but I have to agree with Miss Shirley that Anne has more elegance and spirit. Ann seems a little drab.

Anna is alright, but I like Anne more. Ann without an E on the end seems incomplete.

i like anne best. i think it seems more complete and more elegant than ann or anna.

(ps- stalking through comments, i saw that someone suggested anna quinn. i thought it sounded nice, and familiar... then i remembered "anakin". just sayin'.)

if this one ends up being a girl, we are considering anna colleen (middle name is after my mother, but i love the way it sounds)
