are you in the Netherlands? both of those names came straight from my family tree (on females born in the 1700's and 1800's, respectively) and I just thought they were really pretty. haha.
I have a great aunt named Lida and consequently it screams old lady to me. However, I adore Adelia...except I prefer Adalia (even though its a boy name and completely unrelated to Adelia lol)
ha! my cousins name is aleida, she is in her 40s. my other cousin has a daughter names adelia, who is like 3. i never even made that connection before this post. :)
