I'll add Alabama, Florida and Dakota.
But my favorite would be Nevada.

I really like the name Georgia. Alaska would be kind of cool. Also Montana, Colorado, and Delaware.

My niece is Dakota :)

Tennessee, Alaska, Georgia.

I could think of a lot more city names!

Alabama
Delaware
Georgia
Louisiana
Montana
Nevada
Carolina
Dakota
Vermont (though the nn "Verm" would be awful)
Virginia
Washington

I know "Delaware" is weird, but I could totally see it as a middle name or something.

I love Georgia. And I'll admit Kansas is a guilty pleasure.

Once I was in a supermarket car park and I heard this woman shout

'GODDAMNIT TEXAS GET IN THE CAR'

So, I dunno, but not Texas.

I live in Australia, so I'm using Australian states :D Which leaves me with only one choice, really:

Victoria

because the rest of our states are named things like Western Australia and New South Wales.

Virginia and Georgia, obviously, since they were names first. But I see what you're getting at, so I'll have fun. :P But I'd use Virginia in real life, for the record.

I think Michigan would make an amazingly pretentious-scholarly middle name for a guy. That may or may not have anything to do with that being where I'm from. Oh, and same for Wisconsin.

And Maine is good. Yes, very hipster, especially if on a girl.

You have your typical state names like Georgia, Carolina, Virginia, Dakota, Montana.

I've seen Jersey used plenty of times.

Julia Stiles played in the 2003 moved called "Carolina" where her and her sisters were named after states they were born. Carolina, Georgia, and Maine. Georgia had a son she named California nn Cal.

I think Maine, Kansas, or Alaska would be different.
