Welcome to the world, Georgina Ava Rose "Georgie".
Another princess for Sarah & Max and a baby sister for Annabelle Eliza Jane "Annie"

I do prefer Georgiana but I think Georgie's name is charming. I know that Ava is super common now, and Rose is a "filler" but I love the double middle name. Georgina Ava Rose matches perfectly with Annabelle Eliza Jane ( I don't think sibling's names have to match but I think it's sweet). I like how both princesses have a nickname.

I LOVE Georgina! I think Ava makes a pretty mn, but Ava Rose as a mn is disappointingly mundane next to Georgina. I'd prefer Nina as a nn, but Georgie is cute too. I really like Annabel, but Annabelle pushes it over the frilly edge. Her mns are slightly more original, but also unexciting. I don't get the whole princess thing. I suppose Georgina and Annabelle do sound like princess names.

... princess?

Meh. I guess both of them are a little overly ditzy-glitzy for me, but I'm a very non-princessy person. I think Georgiana, with the added syllable, would be worse (or, if you're into the Girly Girly Girly thing, better, I suppose).

Huh. Well, I don't consider them synonyms; in this case, the names kinda ARE princessy!

It's Sean Connery, and "But of course" is a line from Goldfinger. Well, half of a line.

I think it's an adorable sib set and I like all of the names individually.

Beautiful sibset! I prefer Georgia to Georgina, and Annabel to Annabelle, but still the names are very nice.

I like Georgina. I think Georgiana has way to manny syllables for something that should be sweet.

wow. two princesses in one family? those parents are sure going to have their hands full. have they hired servants yet?

um. girls arent princesses. i will seriously punch anyone who calls my daughter a little princess incessantly.

aside from that issue, i prefer georgia to georgina. if our dogs name wasnt virginia, we would probably actually consider using georgia. and annabel is high on our own list, without the belle ending in the hopes of putting the kabbash on any belle/bella nicknames (with the hopeful nickname anna) i also like rose and jane.

Okay. Is this really enough of an issue to bring up? Couldn't you just go on and comment on the names without that?

You don't want to refer to your daughter as princess, that is grand. But is is really such a big deal that others may say that they you need to get annoyed and worked up in an LJ comment about it?

I like Georgina, and I like Georgia. I kind of like Rose, but it is pretty plain and filler these days.

Georgina's one of my favorites! Sadly, Ava, Rose, and even Annabelle have become so overused as to bore me.

the answer to the first and last question is a resounding YES.

by the way, you are the one getting worked up about it. not me.

you posted here for comments. if you dont like them, then you shouldnt post in a public forum.

why is it not ok to comment? i am obviously not the only one who did, there are several others above who brought it up before me.

like another commenter said "girl" and "princess" are not synonyms. unless you are the spawn of a real live king and queen, princess is pretty derogatory, actually. being born with a vagina doesnt make you a princess. get over it.

my apologies to you. that was in response to whoever it was who got all bent out of shape and responded to me.

i dont approve of the term princess, and i actually find it derogatory, sexist and offensive, but if it works for your family, then obviously i have nothing to say about it.
