fixing spellings
Jan. 24th, 2010 10:44 amIf your parents gave you a perfectly reasonable name, but they totally messed up the spelling, would you spell your name the correct way, or would you not want to hurt your parents' feelings? For example, I know a girl called Aleesha, who is about to get her PhD,and I can't help but think that spelling her name Alicia would be a better option. Similiarly, I know someone called Keeliegh and, if I was her, I'd be very tempted to change the spelling to Keeleigh, Keelie, or even Keeley.
