I was going to say that - although I don't think I'd combine a celtic name with a name for Ireland (unless there's a good reason why the character's parents might have wanted to sound quite so um cariacaturely Irish) personally.

I like Niahm but not a lot of people would get that's pron. Neve and probably butcher it. There *is* a reason the character has such an irish name though. Going on meaning her name translates to bright Ireland anyway :p and I need that for the story.

these were my thoughts exactly but then I try to avoid names I'd use on children for my fictional characters... so I think Neve Erin would be better anyway!

Neve Erin. On another note, I've only heard it pronounced the other way, like saying the word never.
