Eh...if it weren't already a real world, it wouldn't be as weird. It does sort of have a nice sound to it, and at the very least they didn't spell it Daylee.
I met a girl name Dale once, who went by her middle name - Sunshine. I asked if her first name was "Dale" (I was looking at the roster for a summer school class) and she said it was pronounced "daily" o.O She'd be a young teenager now.
