Hey guys - just found this community!
We basically picked our boy's name but are trying to think of middle names now. My favorite name ever is Bjorn but we decided against it because it was too hard to pronounce for my family. So we finally decided on Liam. The last name is Heselton. I don't think that Bjorn works as a middle name with Liam (Liam Bjorn Heselton) so I'm trying to find a new name. I am French so maybe something French so my family doesn't feel left out?

Thank you :)

ETA: How popular is Liam in the US? I'm not familiar because I live in Quebec ATM but my husband is American and we are planning on moving there soon. It's a unique name here but is it still unique in the US?

I'd say Liam is gaining popularity. Not sure I'd ever see it on, say, the top 10, but a few years ago I'd never heard of the name and now it pops up now and again.

Liam Bjorn isn't bad, but it does make me think of the baby carrier, it's like the expensive must have fancy carrier for those who don't use ring slings, wraps, or mei tais.

ETA: Liam has grown in popularity tremendously over the last decade, but I think it only cracked the top 100 names in 2005/06. Don't know where is placed in 2009, but I know it was 75th in 2008, which is when my nephew had his son lol.

LOL, well...at least you have a last name worthy of a middle name. I've decided that I'll be tacking on my last name as a second middle name to any future spawn...and I have a silly last name LOL.

Howdy! This (http://www.babynamewizard.com/voyager/#prefix=LIAM&ms=false&sw=f&exact=false) site is very helpful with tracking rises (and falls) in US baby name popularity.

I love the name Liam. I'm not sure of any French middle names but I have a friend who used Liam Dean and I think it sounds really nice.

Good luck :)

liam is becoming verrrrrrry popular in the US. i'd steer clear of it if you're worried about popularity.
