[identity profile] julia-michelle.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] babynames
The last time this happened I ended up with my dog (I dreamt about a dog named Sierra and a week or so later there she was!)

A boy in this dream, not a baby... toddler-ish aged (maybe 4 at the most) but my child none-the-less. His name was:

Tobin

I've NEVER had this name on my radar. Not as a name that I like, or a name that I don't like, I've just never even had it catch my attention. I still don't know how I feel about it. What do you think?

I don't really have any feelings about it either way. It doesn't thrill me or disgust me. At least it's a legitimate name.

I dreamt of a toddler-ish boy when I was about 10 weeks pregnant. His name was Cameron. I felt strongly for awhile that we should name our baby Cameron but then changed my mind cause it seemed too 'common'.

i like it and think it's a nice alternative to tobias or toby. unfortunately, it's the last name of someone i don't like, therefore i can't imagine using it.

I love it. Of course Tobias is on my top-3 list so I'm a bit biased. Tobin is a little more unusual. I love the sound of it, and although I usually stay closer to mainstream with my own choices, I would totally applaud anyone who chose this name. I think it's one of those rare names that sounds good on a kid and an adult. Actually, the more I think about it the more I really love it!

It's okay. I'm not a fan of the last name as a first trend but, different strokes.

Like Tobin. Can stick with Tobin or go by Toby. It reminds me of my friend Jodin.

This happened to me once. I dreamed that I gave birth to a little girl named Anna. Anna was never ever a name I considered before this. This happened probably 2 years ago and I still haven't been able to let the name go.
