Well, seeing as it's my daughter's name, I kind of love it. :) Her middle name is Calla. Yes, after the flower.

I just wish it hadn't become so popular! (My daughter is 13 now, and it kind of bugs her. But what can you do if so many people have such fabulous taste in names?) ;)

I think it's lovely but it's become pretty popular. I definitely expect it to crack the top ten in a few years. However, I don't think it's a horrible popular name to have. I'd rather my daughter be one of three Lilys she knows than one of three Addisons.

I like the way it looks, and it has delicate and feminine connotations, but I just don't like the way it sounds out loud. It feels kinda awkward to say. Maybe that's just me.

it's boring to me like many short names, especially because of the repeated syllable. I also get the feeling it's overused.

i really loved it up until very recently. i met a teenage girl named lily and it just didnt work. not on her specifically, but i realized i just didnt think it really worked on anyone over the age of like 10...
