Hey guys. I was commenting on a post earlier, and in it I said that my favorite "type" of name for girls is "long, feminine sounding, a bit unique without being too strange"
That is the best way I can describe the type of names I gravitate towards. What names do you guys think fit that description?
for example my number one girl name is Valentina.
I also like Adelaide, Constantina and Victoria.

Never heard Mazarine before! I think I like that.
I like Micalina. There's a relative on my Italian side with that name. I like Theodora, too, and of course Evangeline!
I like Domenica, but my step brother named his son Dominic Owen. Both of those were on my boys name list. Granted, he did not know about the list haha. Nor did he announce the name till his son was born, which is the same thing I would do if I were having one (other than in this community, of course!)

I really like Marguerite, but I despise the nn Peg. I don't think I could ever use Margaret or even Marguerite because if I EVER heard someone use Peg I would shit. It's not something I could look past and say "well I'll just call her Maggie and hopefully no one would ever call her Peg". It would seriously bother me forever.
I know a lady named Eleanore Marguerite...Love it.
haha sorry for that rant, and to anyone called Peg. We all have the ones we really dislike LOL.

I think Peg is far enough removed right now that most people wouldn't even think of it, honestly. Most Margarets I know are Maggies, and people don't think twice about shortening it to Maggie.

I don't know anyone who goes by Peg/Peggy now.
