I saw a birth announcement for a baby today at my dr whose name was Isobela Cullen. Her middle name was Sophiella, or something, I don't remember. I just know she was born in April of '09, so who knows if the parents got the name from the book or not. Lol, all I know is changing the spelling of Isabella doesn't help much! Just wanted to share that, I thought it was kinda funny. ;P

I like the spelling Isobel the best, but for some reason Isobela seems weird. Probably because it's not a legitimate elaboration. And I think Isobela doesn't sound right with the last name of Cullen. Too up and down with the rhythm. And Sophiella is unnecessarily frilly and sounds comical when you say the full name altogether. But it could be much worse, I guess. I'm assuming Isabella Cullen is a character in Twilight? Cullen is a common enough last name and Isabella, no matter how you spell it, is a common enough first name that I don't think people will assume.

i never think of twilight when i hear cullen - i think of king kullen (a grocery store on long island)!

Just right now Isabella Cullen is just becoming such a recognizable name. I don't hate it at all, I just thought it was interesting. hehe, and she was a cute baby!

I definitely only think Twilight when I hear Cullen these days. And hey, Sophiella is a stupid name on par with Renesme or however its spelled, so it's just all bad.

I'd be willing to bet money that Sophiella is the mixture of two names just like Renesmee, probably BECAUSE OF Renesemee

Oh my. She's really in for it. I happen to like the books, but not *that* much! Hopefully they'll call her Izzy instead of Bella. That would help.
