Date: 2009-12-05 05:24 am (UTC)I hate Macenzie/Mackenzie/any form of this. I hate "mc" names... like McDonalds, etc. That may be because they all remind me of McDonalds.
I really adore Maggie. But I probably wouldn't use it without a "full" name for it. And the only one I can think of that I like is Magdalene. And, well, I don't think I want a child to be called "Mary Magdalene."
I like Marcus. But I like just Mark better. =/

Date: 2009-12-05 10:56 am (UTC)December - 2, because it's silly and has a tacky sound
Mackenzie (g) - 1, because it makes no sense on a girl (I love it on a boy, though, and would've given it a 9 or 10)
Maggie - 8, because it's a nickname, not a full name. But we plan on naming our first daughter Margaret and calling her Maggie.
Marcus - 4, because it's a fine name, I just don't like the sound of it at all.

Date: 2009-12-05 06:18 pm (UTC)Mackenzie sounds tacky to me, but it's not TOTALLY awful, so I gave it a 4.
Maggie gets a 10 because it's one of my favourite ever names. Gorgeous. And my grandmother was a Margaret, and even though she went by Marg, I'm debating using Maggie for her.
Marcus is one of my least favourite names EVER. I absolutely hate it. The way it looks, the way it sounds... Everything is just ick for me.
