When I was younger, I was friends with two brothers named:

Britain and Crossley.

I love the names, but a lot of my friends don't. What do you think?

Britain seems more feminine than masculine to me, somehow. If you don't mind me asking, did Crossley go by any nicknames, or just his full first name?

Britain really suited his name, which is possibly why I like it so much. Crossley was usually Crossley, but sometimes his mom would call him Cross, but only if she was ruffling his hair and being cutesy or something.

I had a great uncle named James Britain, but he always went by simply Britain. I love it and have actually thought about using it myself.

Crossley is actually a pretty nice, name, too.

I think they go together nicely in a set. But I also think that Britain would be better suited as a middle name. Maybe if he had a more normal name as a first name that he could fall back on.

I thought they were girls' names before I saw that they were brothers.

I really don't like them at all. Especially Crossley. Bleh.
