Cracy

There is an American woman who works for one of our partner organisations and comes to meetings occasionally, and her name is Cracy (or possibly Crasie, depending on who is writing the minutes). When she introduced herself she ponounced it with a softer S sound in the middle, i don't really know how to describe it, but everyone else just says it like rhyming with Tracy.

I was intrigued by the unusual element, and I want to like it just because Cracy is such a lovely person... but I just don't. it sounds like Crazy and sort of reminds me of Craggy written down, I don't know why. But I thought I'd see what others thought of it...
