A mother brought her little girl into my work the other day. Her name was - Coco. The girl was adorable and the name really seemed to fit her personality. I thought it was cute but probably won't age well... wdyt of Coco?

I immediately think of Koko the gorilla. Not really my style.

I think of Coco Arquette.
I think it's only ok as a nickname, for Corinna for example.

I freely admit to being cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs, but one thing I am not crazy about is this name. *drum roll* Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all night.

Um, but seriously, no. My grandmother used to have a dog named Coco. I don't think it works well on humans at all. Unless it's their stripper name.

I'd have to agree with waitingonsunday. The name only belongs on a dog or stripper. Similar to Candy and Sasha.

There's a Coco at my daughter's preschool. It's a nickname for her real name though, which does not sound anything like Coco.

I think it's a very cute nickname but I don't think it's going to age well.

It's a cute nickname, but not a for a full name. (My dog's named Coco, so I'll always think of puppies when I think of the name.)

Wow I do not feel that way about Sasha. I do kind of about Ruby and Lola though and people disagree with me there *shrugs*

My chinchilla's name is Cocoa. I agree that Coco could be a nickname, but doesn't really work as a full, adult name.

Uh... no. It is written the same way as 'coconut' in my language. And if you add just one accent, voilá! You just named your kid 'poop'.

I love Sasha, but I just think of a porn star or something.

Okay for a nickname, not for a full.

I agree about Candy, but would never see Sasha as a stripper name. It probably helps that I know two Russian guys named Sasha (and dislike it for girls).

I don't like it. Sounds like a poodle's name to me. : /
