Double middle names

I'm not currently pregnant but my sister is and I absolutely love baby names. I have two children, a son and a daughter. My son, Finnegan Nicholas Cameron Flores is 3 and my daughter Skylin Theresa Natalie Flores is 2. I went with double middle names because it is a tradition in my husband's family but it seems to me that more and more people are doing this, as both my brother and sister followed suit with their children. Has anyone else noticed this double middle name trend? My sister is currently pregnant and having a hard time coming up with a boy's name. She's thinking about Maddick or something along those lines, any thoughts as to a name similiar to Maddick?

I havent noticed a double middle name trend, but I am planning on two middle named for my next baby if i have a girl. No suggestion on Maddick, I've never heard of it before.

I have two cousins with double middle names.
Hannah Vivian Mary and Jack Jameson Lester.

Hannah is the name my aunt and uncle picked. Vivian and Mary are Hannah's grandmothers.
They wanted Jack. Jameson because my uncle's name is James so that's pretty cute. Lester is one of Jack's grandpas.

I do like the name Maddox. I don't like Maddick as much.

maddox is nicer than maddick because thats mad and dick put together and god the teasing. poor kid.

I agree with the comment from lipsandhips. I think Maddox would be a better choice. I also really like your daughter's name- Skylin. It's very pretty!

I like double middle names. My best friend's name is Juanita Kateri Magdelena. And she got married recently so now she has 5 names. But I like Kateri the best. :)

In terms of boys, I like Maddox as well. And lipsandhips makes a good point about the teasing.

I was totally coming to say the same thing. That's one name that the poor kid just couldn't live down!

My brother has two middle names as does a friend's daughter. My Husband refuses to let them have two middle names so we won't be doing that. Poo on him. ;)

My son is going to have two middle names because my boyfriend and I couldn't decide on whether to name him after him, or my Dad.
