Paolo is okay, but Sorrel makes me think of squirrel for some reason, too. I really like the how the plant sorrel tastes, but I don't like it as a name.
My uncle's name is Paolo, and has a daughter Paola. Not only that, Paola's brother, Yuri, also married a Paola! And there was a third Paola too in the family, but she recently passed away. They go by Paolina, Paoletta and Paolona respectively.
Maybe I've been overexposed, but I really don't care for the name.
Sorrel I'd never heard before. It remins me of Soren, too close to "sorrow" for me.
