The baby was so cute, but the name...

So, I was in the subway today, coming to work, and there was this family, mom, dad and baby. The baby was cute beyond words, and I have a weakness for  babies, so I kept observing the little boy, trying to make him laugh (I'm surprisingly good at this). And then... I saw it. The mother had a tattoo on her back, of two names. I don't know if it was her name and the husband's, but it's more likely the name of her kids: Flavia and Achlys.

Achlys.

I supposed that was supposed to be Achilles (or Aquiles, in our language). The way it's written, it sounds like you choked on something. Poor baby...

Not saying I like or agree, just saying they were on this babyname site. Plus says this spelling is Female.

Hmm... considering the tattoo, I'm pretty sure it Achlys was meant as a male name. As considering the parents, too, a kre8tiv spelling is much more likely than an obscure Greek name.

As for Flavia, is a pretty common name. I met at least five at school.
