I need middle name suggestions for the first names Jasper and Evangeline. :) I can't find much that goes well with Evangeline (Her nickname would be Evie if it matters) without it sounding like way too much, so I might just consider leaving it with no middle name. WDYT? Last name is Dolan. I'm trying to stick with early 1900ish names, but I'll take any suggestions.

Also, WDYT of the boys name Tobias? Can you think of any good middle names for this one also?

I think that you should stick with very simple middle names for Evangeline - they seem to flow better that way.

I think Evangeline would need a short middle name... something like Bea, Claire, Faye, Finn, Grace, Jay, Jess, Kate/Katey, May, Noelle, Olivia, Quinn, Rose, Wren, Zoe.

I like Jasper. It could have almost any name paired with it, although I'd stay away from other names that end in 'er'.

I also like Tobias, but prefer Tobin with my last name :) Would you consider Jasper Tobias Dolan as a full name, or would you like them separate??

I don't have any specific suggestions, but I do really like the nave Evangeline. I think if you use a middle name, it should be really short and simple. That would probably work.

(I had a goat named Jasper as a child. I like the name, but not for a human. Probably just my goat association, but there you go.)

I like a lottt of these! Everett, Silas, Elias, and Elijah for Jasper and Everett, Asher, Oliver and Luke for Tobias. :D Luke makes me think of Luca, and that sounds good with both too.

Yes I agree (with simple middles), Evangeline Mae was actually something I was really considering since May is the name of her would-be great-grandmother who just passed. :)

Anyway, I really like Jasper Leo and Jasper Evan.

I agree, and I think Evangeline Faye and Evangeline May a lot. I love Tobin too, but it sounds terrible with the ln Dolan. :( And I do like Jasper Tobias but if I ever had another boy I'd want to name him by the other one I didn't use. Who knows though, Jasper Tobias does sound really good and I love them both. :P

I also like Evangeline Zoe and Jasper Vincent. :D

I like Evie May and Evie Faye. I say ignore everyone else who say it 'sounds too southern.' They're both cute!

I second another posted who suggested Everett for Tobias. I'm not a huge fan of Tobias, but Everett is one of my favorite names right now and I agree that it goes well with Tobias!

I think any of the short one- or two-syllable 'old' feminine names would work. Grace, Rose, Marie.

An equally complex name might work too, though. Have you tried dipping into family names?

We have a rather.. not weird sounding, but unusual girl's name picked out for our next. We've picked the middle name Esme. Short but sweet. :) (actually we like it so much we're leaning towards saving it for another daughter's first name!).
