Lots of people say that they love the names my parents picked for my siblings and I...but, lots of people say that they hate them! What do you think?

Chloe Ruth
Miriam Clare
John Joseph

(The last two are twins)

Some of them are family names (my brother's name was also my grandfather's, my middle name is my mum's first name) but the rest are kind of random.

Also, my mum has worked at various Montessori schools for the last 10 years or so and has come across a couple of unusual names. The standout (awful, imho) names for me are:

Cressida
Digby

They're all paired really nicely, so that even though I'm not that big a fan of most of the names individually, they all sound really nice together.

Digby doesn't sound that bad to me, I think it's an older name but I can't think where I've heard it before.

I like the level of rareness of your cousins' names. They're not at all unusual, everyone would have heard of them, but they're not common.

I think your sibling names are all fine and quite nice, although I am not a fan of the alliteration in John Joseph.

I have heard of both Cressida and Digby before. I really don't like Digby.

Aw, thanks. To be honest, I never really liked Jacqueline. Also, people always pronounce Georgia wrong! The other names in the shortlist were Georgette and Georgiana (pronounced geor-JAY-na), so I guess I had a lucky escape!

I don't like the alliteration either, but we usually call him Johnjoe (or johnjoe pongo if we're feeling mean!) I think it sounds nice with his twin's name; Miriam and John.

Your name is really pretty. I like it. Your siblings' names are nice too, but yours is my favorite.

What's wrong with Cressida? I don't really like it, but it's a Shakesperean name and therefore cool. Digby is kind of silly sounding though.

I guess I just don't like the sound of Cressida. Also, it reminds me of Cress and the girl in question was quite snotty. I suppose it's a name that somebody quite posh could pull off.
