What's the difference between MEER-ah and MIR-ah?

MEER-ah has a more drawn out sound than MIR-ah. MIR sounds more like the beginning of Mirror.

Okay. To me it's just the length of the sound because mirror starts with a long e sound. But will vote!

The second one I think mainly. I remember reading that's how Mira Sorvino pronounces hers.
