Girls name, boys name or just unisex?

I decided a while ago that this is going to be my daughters name, but 2 people in the last day have said it's a boys name?

It's a 150% girl's name to me, no doubt about that!
I frankly think those people are crazy. There is no "law" that it's a girl's name, but it is the name of a garden, you know, where fruits and flowers typically are.. and that's a female archeotype.

I know a boy with this name, but it's spelled differently -- Edan. Eden definitely looks like a girl.

I know Edon is a boy's name, but if it's spelled Eden, it's 100% a girl's name.

Maybe they think you're saying Aiden? I've been watching that show about pageants for the last hour and was so confused about why someone would name their little girl Aiden, and then at the end they showed the name on the screen and it was Eden. I would never name a boy Eden.

Although it sounds pretty feminine to me, the only Eden I've ever actually met was male (and in his forties).

So...I think it would be fine for either sex really.

I have a girl cousin named Eden, and I refuse to think of it as a boys' name. It is definitely a girls' name to me.
