Scarlett. I fell in love with it when I was reading Gone With the Wind. by the end of the book, I'd decided that I was going to use it someday.

I love a lot of the names in Gone With The Wind (Scarlett, Rhett, Ashley on a boy, Melanie, India, Cathleen).

I love both Eloise and Madeline. Eloise is such a spunky character in the children's books that it'd be fun to read them to a kid as she was growing up.

i also hate to admit this, but as much as i abhor twilight, i adore the vampires' names. i would not be naming my children after the books because ugh eww hate, but i adore jasper, emmett, edward, alice, and esme.

I totally agree about the Twilight names. Fortunately, their names have been used in other literary works. Unfortunately, people are probably gonna jump for the Twilight reference first.

Atticus is great! Ever since I read that book, I was hooked on the name. Holden is another favorite, as is Matilda.

I love that he's described as the same at home as he is on the street. What a great thing to pass on to your kid. One of my preschoolers, Violet, has a brother named Atticus, and it makes me happy every time I hear it.
