I came across a couple more names. WDYT about the names Jasper and Hyde? I would pair them with pretty normal middle names, of course.

Also, which spelling looks better to you: Jasper or Jaspar? And can anyone think of a nickname for it?

Edit: Okay, I guess Jaspar is out of the question. XD

I like Jasper; it just wouldn't work for my last name (which is 2 syllables and ends in -er and I don't like the er-er sound). The only nickname I can think of is Jazz.

Hyde reminds me of the jrocker and Jasper...I've always hated; I just don't like the way it sounds. Also, the baddie on 101 Dalmations comes to mind, lol. ^^;

Spelling-wise, Jasper. I've never seen it spelled the other way; looks awkward.

They remind me of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Jasper (please not Jaspar) is OK, and the nickname 'Jazz' works, I guess. Hyde doesn't seem like anything but a last name to me, though.

Just wanted to chime in and say that I've liked Jasper ever since it was a character name in the old show Avonlea. I don't follow twilight, so that wouldn't bother me. I guess instead of Jazz you could call him spur ^_^

Hyde, besides Jeckyll & Hyde, makes me think of animal skin. What do you think of the name Hiram instead?
