My brothers ex-girlfriend's name: Jarena (prn. jar-een-uh), and she has a younger sister named Caala (variant of Kayla).
What do you think?

They could strangely grow on me. Caala reminds me of names like Canaan and Baal. Are the girls from somewhere in particular?

As far as I know they were born and raised in the Midwest, I am not sure of their heritage beyond that.

Not a fan of either. I kind of assumed Caala was pronounced like Calla. ^^;

I'm pretty neutral about Jarena but really dislike that spelling of Caala.

I'm so sick of seeing Kayla that I actually like Caala.

How is Caala Kayla? I would have pronounced it CAH-la, with a long A. I like the pronunciation of Jarena though.
