Jorie/Jory

Male or female?

Good or bad?

Nickname? Or, full name?

I don't know how I feel about it.

I'm thinking male because it reminds me of Youri/Yuri. I don't like it, because it looks like either a messed up version of Yuri or a typo of Jordy (which is a legit name here...not sure if it is one in other countries).

Jorie looks female; Jory, male.
Male name, overall.
Err...bad. I don't really like it.
Full or nickname, though a nick for what, I don't know.

I know a Jory. She's a female, born around 1990, and her full name is Marjorie.

I like it for a girl. I sort of wish I'd pushed that as a nickname when I was younger instead of Jordy/Jordi.

I know a Jory who is a male and he is one of the coolest people I've ever met.
I also know a Geori who is female.

I think it works either way and it's a pretty cool name.

Jory. Both, though I much prefer it on girls. And I love it.

I prefer the spelling Jori, and to me it's a female name. There were 3 or so girls with that name in my high school, which was sort of surprising because it doesn't seem like a common name. I kind of like it.

I love it, and I think it would make a good nickname for Jorinda.

"Jorie" is what my friend Julie's older sister used to call her, she had some trouble with L's (she was 4 when Julie was born)... so that's all I can really think of when I see/hear the name.

I know a Jorian (male). Jory could work as a short form of that.

I've never met anyone named Jorie/Jory/Jori before, but it would make a nice nickname for Jordan for either gender.
