Multiple Middle Names: Yehh or nehh?
Jul. 20th, 2009 02:56 pmMy sister is pregnant with her first child and we have spent hours going over names together. Just throwing ideas out there and trying to come up with middle names that would work with the names she seems to like.. The only issue, she is like our mother [See below and you will understand]. She can not make up her mind about middle names, and at the rate she is going, if she wants to use all the names she likes on future children with out them having 8 middle names or more, she's going be the old lady who lives in a shoe.
So, my question is how many middle names is just to much?
My siblings names are [From oldest to youngest]:
Kristie Lynn
Jennifer Marie
Sara Diane Samantha [me]
Ashley Nicole Noel
Joshua Aaron Jerome Matthew
Charlee Alexandria Rebbecca Mary Alice
As you can see from the above list my mom started out small and decided to keep tacking on names when she knew she was coming to
the end of her child bearing years. Lol. My poor baby sister got it the worst. Trying fitting all that on any form or your Social Security card.
What do you think? How many is to many.
Just a funny note: When I was born, I guess giving your child more than one middle name wasn't very common. Because I have two middle names the hospital made a mistake and issued my parents 3 birth certificates thinking that I was triplets. Lol. They recieved one for Sara, one for Diane, and one for Samantha. They also mistakenly recieved 3 social security numbers for me as well.
