[Poll #1428012]I love both names, but I still can't shake the fear I have of Ada always being confused with Ava with it being so popular and all. And I have to say I am drawn to Cora a bit because it was my great-great-grandmother's name and I would love to use it.

I forgot to pick, and I want Cora Samantha Jane. :D

Ada Rodriguez has a rather harsh sound (I think it's the d's) and I think Cora Rodriguez flows better.

I like Cora a lot better, personally.

I don't think there's going to be a problem with Ada being called Ava.

That said, Cora is a fine name. I just prefer Ada.

Of these two I prefer Cora.

I remember all your posts asking for suggestions and I'm wondering if you've considered the name Tessa? I think it's pretty and similar to others you considered, and it goes nicely with your other names. :) Feel free to ignore if you're only choosing btwn Ada and Cora at this point.

I picked Cora because it's a family name for you. I love that. :)

I do like Cora, but to my ear, coRA ROdriguez is a bit repetitive.

Agreed. I just can't understand why the OP thinks people would confuse the names. I look at Ada, and I say the /d/ sound.

All the Adas I have ever known have been vapid, annoying people (and I know a lot of them, because Ada is really common in this part of Asia) so I vote Cora.

I love the first combo best, but I like the name Cora just a tidge more. It is my wee one's name =] I love the nn Addie and don't think it's like Ava at all, but people hear what they want to hear no matter what. Even Cora gets confused with Laura just 'cause people fill it in and don't actually listen anymore.

My oldest was almost Tessa, ended up being Cressa and my wee one is Cora and I love Ada. You are good at picking out genres of names =]

I like them both, but I think Cora Samantha flows better than Ada Samantha.

I was only introduced to Cora when a friend picked it for her daughter. I LOVE it.
