WDYT? Mitzi is very old fashioned--in fact, my husband had a great grandmother named Mitzi. I think it's kind of cute as a nickname. Tangela, however, just makes me think of tangelos.

Lol, yeah, the Pokemon was my first thought. If I met a Tangela I'd be more inclined to pronounce it like the Pokemon, rather than like Angela with a T.

Tangela makes me think of Frangela, the comediennes. I have a friend whose last name is long and German and begins with Muetz (think Muetzenhagen or something) the Muetz- is pronounced like "Mitz" so she sometimes goes by Mitzy, I think it's cute.

I think Mitzi's cute, but I can only imagine it on a child. I've known a Tangela before, and while I don't like it, it's not completely terrible.

I hate the name Mitzi. Why? Because my name is Misty and people cannot seem to get that it's MISTY and not MITZI. I have even had extended family members call me Mitzi...seriously!
