Can you think of a name that could have the nickname Lottie that isn't Charlotte? Or Liselotte.

What about just Lotte? I feel like the lack of an 'i' makes it look less informal.

Lotte works fine as a name on its own! It was my favorite name when I was 5, haha (I remember because I had a classmate by that name and told her how much I liked it!) ;)

I also used to know an Annelotte.

I think Lotte would work fine by itself. :)

So funny that you would say that, because to me Lotte is more tomboyish than Charlie! I suppose that has something to do with the fact that the Lotte I used to know grew up to be a complete tomboy, whereas a Charlie I knew was super feminine ;)

I remember a character from a movie whose name was Carlotta, and they called her Lottie. I can't remember the movie though.

It may be pushing it but if I name my daughter Lenore then I plan on calling her Lottie. :)

I adore the name Lottie and prefer it over Lotte. I'd probably use Charlotte but I think it's fine on its own.

I really like Lotte as a name in its own right :)

Depends on how you're pronouncing it. Is it "lot-tuh", "lot-tay", just "lot" or "lot-tee"? If it's "lot-tee", what about Claudia? Might be a stretch but some people might think it works.
