Assuming it is pronounced Kay-Lynn? I work with a woman who is called that, spelled Kalen. It's her middle name, but it's the one she goes by.

It looks like somebody forgot the "t" in "Kaitlyn". :P
It's acceptable. I've heard the name before, but I don't like it.

There was a girl in my homeroom classes through high school named Kailyn, so it's not wierd to me. It's pronounced Kay-lynn, and I guess cause I knew her for so long it isn't wierd to me. I've met a few other's a well. I dislike it paired with Joy though.

I have a friend named KaeLyn. Kailyn is okay -- I think I prefer this spelling to KaeLyn -- but not one I'd ever use. I guess what I'm saying is: it could be worse.

It is a name, albeit one that sounds made up. I used to work with a girl named Kaylynne.

Sounds like every other trendy made up K name... it's okay I guess, I'm assuming with everyone else it's pronounced like Kaitlyn without the t.

I don't like it at all :( It looks really made up, and I bet it's going to be mistaken for "Kaitlyn" all the time.

Ugh, a girl at church is named Cailin & people are like "?!?!?" I find the version above a little better.

Ugh...rather sick of the Kailyn/Kalyn/Kalen/Kaelyn/etc. trend. That said, it could be much worse. The only real problem I can foresee her having is correcting people who think it's Kaitlyn. And I do like Joy.

I knew someone named Kalen, so it doesn't sound weird to me. The spelling is a bit.. over the top, but overall I like the sound of it.

Yeah, I work with a Kailin. I always thought it was a weird name, and she just recently told me her real name is Kathy, which she didn't like, so she just made Kailin up.

Kailyn sounds like she'll fit in perfectly with all the Kylies, Kaylies, Caylees, Kaylas, Kaidyns, etc.

I went to school with a Cailin so I guess it is a name.
