To come up with something that flows rhythmically, how many syllables are in the last name, and what syllable is stressed?

Natalie Grace is good. Ann is way to common for me.. but it still sounds nice.

I like Natalie Rose.

I think it goes best with a short, one syllable middle name.

I second Natalie Hope!

But personally I'd choose a family name (or, if you're religious, a name from your tradition) as a middle name rather than just something that sounds pretty - middle names are so rarely used anyway...

Ah, then I think you are absolutely on track with the one syllable middle names. (My second choice would be a middle name that is two syllable, stressed on syl #1.)

Ideas (although I'd probably cross off any of the ones that stress the same vowel sound that is stressed in the last name, as those might feel a little rhymy)

Natalie Belle (only if there are no L sounds in the surname)
Natalie Bryn
Natalie Fern
Natalie Fleur
Natalie Greer
Natalie Maeve
Natalie Paige
Natalie Reese
Natalie Sage

I agree with using a family name or a traditional name. It's a way to honor someone you loved.
