Any opinions on the name BrĂgh?
It's an Irish girls name pronounced bree. It means power or high. I'm guessing it means high in power instead of the drugged up form.

It's simple, yet the spelling makes it seem whole rather than Bree or Brie which would look like a nn for Brianna or Brielle or the like.

What do you think?

I really like it, but the one thing I wonder about it is whether or not people would try pronouncing it rhyming with "high" because of the spelling.

I think it is very pretty! To me, Bree looks like it is missing something, and Brie looks like a cheese. When I saw it I automatically assumed it was pronounced "bree", but my name is Leigh so I associated it with my own pronuciation.

I like it and I've met someone called that but they spelled it Bree. I like Bree better because it avoids confusion.

I think it would be mispronounced a lot.

I don't like the way it looks or sounds, but that's just my opinion.

it makes me want to sing "bring bring bring, bring em home some brighams (http://www.brighams.com)" ...but that aside, and if you dont live somewhere where there are a lot of brighams, i do really like it. and yes, definitely prefer it to all of the bree/bre/brie nonsense.

I don't like it, I hate how Bree, Brie, etc sound. To me they are really trashy sounding. I guess it'd be okay as a nn on a little girl, but that's it.

If you live in the US, it would probably be mispronounced A LOT, especially since most accents are usually left off. If you live in the UK, though, you'd probably wouldn't have so much of a problem.
