Lately I've been falling in love with long names. To me they sound so classic, regal and timeless. Plus, I can usually get a nice "cutesy" nickname for when they're little.

These are the ones I like. Potenital nickname are in brackets. WDYT of this list? Can you think of any other awesome long names?

Christopher (Chris, Topher)
Alexander (Ally, Lex, Xander)
Sebastian (Seb, Bastian)
Nathaniel (Nate, Nathan)
Augustus/August (Augie)
Georgiana (Georgie/Jorjie)
Elizabeth (endless... Ellie, Elle, Lily, Lizzie, Liza, Eliza, Beth...)
Josephine (Josie, Joey)
Alexandra (Ally, Alexa)
Anastacia (Ana, Stacey)
Genevieve (Evie)

My sister is Shannan but was going to be Savannah(sp?)
And my other sister is Billie Joe but is called Josephine a lot or Joe

I love the Josephine (Josie =D). My cousin's daughter is just Josie and she's adorable

Christopher (Chris, Topher)--I like it, but I prefer other variations like Christian or Christophe. I much prefer the nickname Chris to the nickname Topher.
Alexander (Ally, Lex, Xander)--This is definitely a nice name. I'm fond of Xan as a nickname.
Sebastian (Seb, Bastian)--I hate this name, unfortunately. I think Bastian is kinda nice though.
Nathaniel (Nate, Nathan)--Not really my style, but Nate is definitely a nice nickname
Augustus/August (Augie)--I love August! I don't really like nicknames for it
Georgiana (Georgie/Jorjie)--I much prefer Georgia, but Georgiana is lovely
Elizabeth (endless... Ellie, Elle, Lily, Lizzie, Liza, Eliza, Beth...)--I like Beth as a nickname quite a bit, and you can't really go wrong with Elizabeth. Nobody would ever say it was a weird or different name.
Josephine (Josie, Joey)--I have recently come to love this name. I like Josie quite a bit too.
Alexandra (Ally, Alexa)--Definitely not my style.
Anastacia (Ana, Stacey)--I do like it a lot, Ana is a much better nickname than Stacey in my opinion
Genevieve (Evie)--I am off and on about this name but I LOVE the nickname Evie.

Penelope has the nn Nelly as well as Penny
Henrietta (a name I love) has Henny and Hetta (and maybe even Rietta/Retta) as nicknames as well as Henry. :-)
