A woman I work with has just become a grandmother for the first time.

A little girl named Etienne Matilde [I’m guessing at the spelling…]

Unsurprisingly, the woman I work with is French, and her son and his wife both live over there.

WDYT?

Etienne is a boy's name, so I really don't like that.

I pretty much LOVE Matilde, though!

There was a German male exchange student my jr. year of High School named Etienne. He was kind of weird, but to each their own, I suppose.

Matilde is adorable, though.

Etienne is one of my fave names ever, but as everyone else said, I think it's more of a boy's name than a girl's name... saying that I've used it as a female character's name before and then used it on a male sim heh.

Yeah, Etienne is a boy's name, so that's... slightly bizarre.

Haha, that explains a lot indeed ;).

I actually like Steve for a girl. It's cute.

I love Etienne on a boy, not so much on a girl. Matilde is pretty, although I prefer Matilda/Mathilda.

I know a girl with the last name Etienne, so while it's kind of nice, it's just so surname to me. Matilde is really not my style at all.
