Nothing, because cats don't have middle names. :)

Mine does! Giving pets people names (including a middle name) is the perfect way to use all those names you love but would never use on an actual child. That's why my cat's name is Emma Jayne. :)

I guess it doesn't make sense to me because my cats are named things like Mittens and GeeGee, haha.

My cousin named her dog Zoe Woof ------- but somehow I think that is not what you're looking for. I'm all about middle names for pets. My dog is Sandra Suzanne (Sandy Sue), my fish is Big Red Tunafish, my horse is Nell Kody Jewel (we incorporated her old names in and chose Nell for our own).

I would say Zowie Capote for some reason or Zowie Ann.

Don't see why everyone thinks this is so odd, after all people get middle names and the principles surely still apply (aside from it being a cultural norm, but to hell with those).
Both my rabbits have middle names [Branwen Felicity & Casey Jack], and I guess my future animal companions will too.

Am assuming your Zowie is a girl, so ...
Zowie Anais
Zowie Bast (Egyptian Goddess of cats)
Zowie Grace
Zowie Inara (if you're into Firefly/Serenity)
Zowie Jean (as in gene genie)
Zowie Scarlet

I quite like searching through names and finding something with a meaning that suits the animal's personality/apperance, or just as a tribute to someone/something that might be a bit embarassing for a kid to live with.

My cat was named Martha Key when I adopted her, then just changed it to "Molly". I liked the original Key part, though.

I liked someone's suggestion of Zowie Lou.

I got my cat when I was 8, so his name is Simba, but I've given him the middle name of King, haha. Simba King. :) I'm such a nerd.
