The first name is not up for debate unfortunately as it is the only name my fiance would agree on (my first choice was Cody :\). We did agree, however, that I could choose his middle name since he doesn't like Cody as much as I do. I chose Orion (Greek mythology). I just think Max Orion sounds pretty awesome. The second spelling of Maximilian is the Polish spelling since my fiance is Polish. Any other middle name suggestions are appreciated! I will still probably go with Orion either way but I am curious as to other peoples' suggestions and opinions on it.

I like Riley. I think it's cute with Maximilian. I really wouldn't spell it Maksymilian. It just looks like it's trying too hard to be different.

Unless you live in Poland there is no reason to spell it Maksymilian. It just looks like you wanted to be 'creative' or 'unique' by using that spelling.

I like Maximilian a lot though I'm probably going with Maxwell since my last name also has multiple syllables and ends in an 'n' sound. It's be too much of a mouth full.

Maximilian Orion is very cool. That's a name a little boy, teenager, and adult can love.

I like Maximilian, but I really really dont like the other spelling. It looks complicated and just very disturbing, especially for a young child trying to learn his name...

But Max is very cute.

I like Maximilian Gage

It probably wouldn't make sense because a whole lot of people have Polish surnames and don't use Polish names in America. Seriously, it'd just seem illiterate if you used the Polish spelling. You may want to consider a traditional Polish name for a middle name instead of a first name.

Maximilian Alfons
Maximilian Aron
Maximilian Antoni
Maximilian Jacenty
Maximilian Iwan
Maximilian Jerzy
Maximilian Kasper
Maximilian Konrad
Maximilian Constantine
Maximilian Krystian
Maximilian Krzysztof
Maximilian Ludwik
Maximilian Marek
Maximilian Marcin
Maximilian Oskar
Maximilian Radek
Maximilian Renard
Maximilian Stefan
Maximilian Tymon
Maximilian Tomek
Maximilian Zenon

I'm a fan of Maximilian Alfons, Maximilian Jacenty, Maximilian Radek, and Maximilian Stefon.

I agree with you on the spelling of "Maksymilian" in that it would have to be spelled out because everyone will assume it is spelled Maximilian, that and I think its just a terrible terrible spelling.

Oh man, I really don't like "Maksymilian". Apologies, but that spelling just looks ridiculous. Plus, you loose the awesome nickname Max. I voted for Max Orion, because I have a friend named Eric Orion and he always dig his middle name. :)

Maybe:

Maximilian Nicholas
Maximilian Ryan
Maximilian Oliver
Maximilian James
Maximilian Levi
Maximilian Reuben

Maximilian Orion is a wonderful name. I love both the names Max and Orion, good choice.

Maksymilian would give him so much trouble... don't do that to him!

Agreed that Maksymilian would come off as overly creative instead of authentic - even if you have the Polish heritage to back it up, people are going to think "trying hard to be different" unless you've got a thick Polish accent and a birth certificate from the country!

I've had two Maxes in the classes I teach - one was Maximilian, the other is Maxwell.
