i have gems for you all today...

a friend of mine got tagged in a facebook photo by her friend...wait for it... danikqwa.  any thoughts on pronounciations? dan-ik-qua... dan-eek-qua?

also, compliments of my mom's mailer bussiness we have the siblings kial (6), kaiden (4), and konnor (1).  (for those of you who are like me and will have to sound it out, i'm pretty sure the first one is kyle. that starts with a "k" too! it wouldn't have messed her up to use kyle!)

Kial is so unnecessary. So is Konnor and Kaiden with a K. Does the mother realize together her kids' first initials are KKK??

Also, I bet the first name is pronounced Da-NEE-qua. And whether it's a real name or not, even 'Daneequa' or 'Daniqua' would have looked better than 'Danikqwa.'

Danikqua is probably "da-nee-qwah", at least in my experience. I live in Atlanta and some of my co-workers include Tahija, Sheana, Lawanda, and Leona.
