It’s official! The third child– and second daughter — for Chyler Leigh and Nathan West will be named Aniston Kay. Due May 15th, baby girl can thank her dad for the unusual moniker! “My husband was actually the one who picked it,” the 26-year-old Grey’s Anatomy actress revealed Wednesday.

When asked by host Ellen DeGeneres if actress Jennifer Aniston was his inspiration, Chyler joked “she is like my best friend,” before clarifying, “I’ve never met her actually, no.”

“It was just something…my husband and I were trying to look for different names and both of our kids have a traditional and a unique name, so we were kind of just looking for something not as common.”

Impressed by their willingness to defy convention, Ellen joked ”if you have another one, call it ‘DeGeneres.’”

Aniston will join big siblings Noah Wilde, 5, and Taelyn Leigh, 2, at home.

I don't consider Taelyn "traditional" but I guess that depends on what one's traditions are...

I was thinking Noah was the traditional one and taelyn was unique. I don't really like taelyn or aniston but Noah is nice.

I've never quite got the appeal of Aniston, but the combo & sibset works well.

Should think she meant Noah & Leigh are traditional, while Wilde & Taelyn are uncommon.

I like the name Noah. Taelyn is very unique, and I kind of like it although I wouldn't call my daughter that. Aniston doesn't seem to strike me as a first name, but whatever makes the parents happy , I guess.

Yeah, they don't have good name taste for girls at all. Noah Wilde is okay. Noah is pretty common, but I do like it with Wilde.

I don't like Aniston either, but Aniston Kay does sound good. Maybe it's going to be the new Addison!
