So I recently got back in touch with a cousin I haven't seen since we were 12 (we're almost 22 now), and he's married with twins girls, who are a couple months old. Their names are Makyla and Peyton, not sure of the middle names. Personally, I LOVE Peyton. but Makyla seems like a made-up name or a really yewneek spelling of...something. My cousin's name is James, no nickname, and his wife's name is Margaret, nn Maggie.

Eeeep. I keep wanting to read it as ma-KAY-luh, even though I know it's ma-KYE-luh, so it just looks like a bad typo. :\ I can't stand Peyton.

Peyton is horrendous. It really has a permanent honorary position on my worst names of all time hate list. Makyla's not particularly better, although I don't feel the same visceral loathing toward it.
