Actually I'm in love with the name Luna. I come from a spanish house hold though, so it's probably more common. I hope to one day name my first daughter Luna.

It isn't a bad name, I just personally don't care for it. I know it means moon, but I always think 'lunatic'. It's odd because I usually like names dealing with stars and such too, like Stella, Celeste.

I don't love it, but I don't hate it, either. If I met a girl named Luna, my first reaction would be that she had a slightly unusual name, but not so out-there that it was distracting, or so obviously weird that it seemed like her parents just wanted to show off how creative they were. So I think it's a good name. The only downside I can see is that kids might call her loony/lunatic.

My daughter's name is Luna. Another girl in my due date community also has a Luna. I also e-know a pretty little brown eyed girl named Luna. haha

I get lots of "Oh what's your baby's name?" "Luna" ".......Oh... well.. that's... cute. :|"

I like Luna! It's a guilty pleasure name for me though, because all I can think of is the cat on Sailor Moon :P (maybe that's why I picture a little girl with black hair, if I think about hair colours :P)
