What's the weirdest name you've ever known someone to have?

Personally, Ladybug was the weirdest I've run into.

I knew a girl named Treean (pronounced like 'Tree-Anne'). Apparently when she was born, her older sister was allowed to name her. Yeah.

I honestly have no clue. ._.

She worked with my mother and we both agreed that it would be a little less odd if it was actually pronounced different but...it wasn't.

Yep, she worked with my mother. As to what type of person does that to a child...*shrugs* ._.

At least I'll always have that as a reference for if my mother ever decides to dislike one of my future baby names. ;)

Several years ago, my dad had a graduate student with four kids:

Timbre (f, pronounced TAM-ber)
Tetra (f)
Treble (f)
Tenor (m)

Yeah, the guy was a musician, but that's just awful. My parents are both musicians and my name is Rachel. :)

On King of the Hill last night Luanne had her baby and when she was drugged up she said she was going to name her Lasagna. I didn't think anyone actually would do that. lol

Like the Italian dish, yes. Funnily enough, my mother and I both agreed it would have been a better name if it was pronounced differently but it wasn't. =/

*blink* Chapel...is just wrong. The things people name their children. *shakes head* I don't know why they don't just think a little bit about what life for them is going to be like. I'm all for odd names, but at least I don't go too out of the box.

Ha! Maybe "my" Lasagna's mother was really drugged up and hungry after she gave birth? lol!

Cinnamon (classmate in high school)

Dixie Cherry (old coworker)

Odysseus and Ma'keighhlea (siblings, both girls - I thought it was a weird combo. I don't remember how the McName was spelled, but it involved punctuation and about twice as many letters as necessary)
